Chartworx based in Den Helder, The Netherlands, has been involved with the development, production and distribution of electronic chart systems for both the SOLAS market and the fishery and recreational market, since 1982. Chartworx staff has extensive expertise in the field of data development, data maintenance, conversion and production. Chartworx has as such been involved in several projects and participates in national and international working groups.

Chartworx products are being marketed under the names TheMAP, TRAX and Quodfish. The systems are being delivered in various versions ranging from ECDIS, inclusive Inland ECDIS, to systems specially designed to support maritime operations. Chartworx is also specialised in the development of so called Fish Plotters and electronic chart systems for the recreational market.

Chartworx Electronic Chart systems are used world wide. A considerable number of Governmental vessels operated by the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food quality and Ministry of Justice have been fitted with Chartworx Electronic Chart Systems.

At present over 6500 professional users have a TheMAP, TRAX or Quodfish installed and another 1500 systems have been delivered to the recreational market. Many of these systems have been supplied with modules for

3 dimensional presentation, radar interface, AIS et cetera.
